Terms of use
Last updated 06/08/2026
These are the terms on which TEXMAS offers this website and its member services. We have kept them short and readable, because rules nobody reads protect nobody.
About this website
texmas.com is operated by TEXMAS — Textile Merchants Group (Dubai Textile Merchants Association), 102 Al Baqali Building, Bur Dubai, P.O. Box 50961, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Using the site means accepting these terms; if they don’t suit you, please don’t use it.
Using the site
The site exists to serve the Dubai textile trade — information about TEXMAS and Dubai Textile City, the members’ directory, and the services our members use. Use it lawfully. Don’t try to break into it, disrupt it, or abuse the forms and member services.
Member firm accounts
Firm logins are issued by the TEXMAS office to registered member firms. There is no public sign-up, and an account belongs to the firm on the membership register — not to the individual holding the password. That carries a few obligations:
- Keep your password to yourself. Anything done through your login is treated as done by your firm.
- Record your trade licence number and expiry date when you first sign in, and keep the office informed when the licence is renewed. Your membership record depends on it.
- Tell the office promptly if your email address or mobile number changes, or if you think someone else has your password. Those details are how we reach you and how we restore access, which is why only the office can change them.
- If a membership lapses or a firm defaults, its login may be suspended along with its membership.
The members’ directory
Everything a firm submits for its listing must be accurate and must belong to that firm — its own logo, its own website, its own social accounts. Submissions are reviewed by the office before they appear, and we check them against the membership register. We may decline, edit or remove a listing at our discretion, and we will tell you why.
Dubai Textile City permits
A permit request is an application, not an entitlement: TEXMAS reviews each one and may approve or decline it. Where a firm applies, that firm is responsible for the people it names and for the accuracy of the Emirates ID copies it uploads. Submitting someone else’s ID without their knowledge is not acceptable use of this service. An approved permit covers the visit described, and the details are checked at entry.
Intellectual property
The TEXMAS name, logo and the content of this site belong to TEXMAS or its licensors. Member logos remain the property of the firms they belong to; by submitting one you confirm you are entitled to use it and you permit us to publish it in the directory. Please don’t reproduce our material commercially without written permission.
Availability and liability
The site is provided as it stands. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we cannot promise either without interruption, and TEXMAS accepts no liability for loss arising from relying on the site or from it being unavailable. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under UAE law.
Privacy
How we handle personal information — including Emirates ID copies and firm contact records — is set out in our Privacy Notice.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the services grow; the date above shows when they last changed. Questions to texmas@eim.ae or +971 4 353 1551.
