About TEXMAS

The apex body of Dubai’s textile trade.

Established 1990 · Registered with the Department of Economic Development, Dubai.

TEXMAS, the Textile Merchants Group, is the apex body of Dubai-based wholesale textile merchants. Established in the year 1990, TEXMAS offers its members a platform to interface with the Government and its various departments to address the concerns of the textile industry.

TEXMAS is an expression of Dubai’s business-friendly policies and was among the first industry associations in the city — those policies have made Dubai the pre-eminent business and trading hub in the MENA region, and one of the premier business destinations in the world.

The pursuit of excellence is part and parcel of the Dubai DNA, and a source of inspiration to the textile merchants of the city.

Our mandate

What TEXMAS does for the trade.

01

Advance the trade

Advancing the business interests of the textile trade in Dubai and across the wider region.

02

Shape policy

Providing inputs on government policy for a sustainable, thriving textile industry.

03

Arbitrate disputes

Arbitrating disputes between members — fairly, discreetly and in good faith.

How we work

A registered, member-led body.

TEXMAS is a registered association under Dubai's Department of Economic Development — run by and for its member firms, with a managing committee elected from the membership.

Rather than trade itself, the group represents the interests of the trade: a single, organised voice for hundreds of wholesale textile houses.

  • Interfaces directly with government departments on the concerns of the textile industry.
  • Arbitrates disputes between members — fairly, discreetly and in good faith.
  • Represents the trade across the emirate and the wider MENA and Africa region.
